Step-by-Step Setup
1. Use Chrome for Setup
Open Google Chrome for best results.

Keep two windows open (this helps to easily view if possible):
Left side → login to eboov dashboard.
Right side → login to the accounts you’ll connect (Facebook Ads, domain host, CRM, website builder).
2. How To Upload Your First Video
In your dashboard, click Videos → My Videos → Upload Video.
Select your video file.
(Optional) Check Use Enhanced DRM Protection to prevent other people downloading or screen recording your video from your website.
3. How To Embed Your Video
Click on your video → Click Embed.

Copy and paste embed code into your page builder’s HTML embed box.
Works with all builders (Wordpress, Squarespace, etc.).
4. Connect Your CRM
Go to Settings (sidebar) → Email Integrations.

Choose your CRM integration method. Here's some examples:
High Level → Click Generate authorization code button, choose sub-account, confirm.
MailChimp → Copy and Paste your API key from Mailchimp into eboov and save.

Once connected, go to Campaigns → Lead Campaigns.
Click to open the test campaign, go to Settings → Click Leads, choose your CRM integration, click refresh icon on lead form, select your list, and Save.
5. Add Your Website Domain(s)
Go to Settings → Domains.

Click Add New Domain → Submit.
Best practice: add both your website domains and page builder domains (e.g., gohighlevel.com, squarespace.com).
This ensures your videos play correctly across all pages and subdomains.
6. Install the First Party Pixel (FPP)
Go to First Party Pixel in the sidebar.
Add your domain → do not click verify yet.

In your domain host (e.g., GoDaddy), add two new DNS records:
A Record → Name:
eboovfpp→ Value: copy from eboov.AAAA Record → Name:
eboovfpp→ Value: copy full IPv6 from eboov.
Save both records, return to eboov, and Verify.
- Refresh page to see verification progress in eboov.
Once verified, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
7. Connect Facebook Tracking & Retargeting
In Settings (sidebar) → Tracking Analytics, paste your Facebook Pixel ID into the box and update.

For Retargeting in eboov:
Go to Facebook Retargeting (under settings in eboov) → Connect your ad pixel (found in Facebook's Events Manager) → Paste Pixel ID and name.
Generate and paste your Access Token from Facebook’s Events Manager (Conversion API section "Generate Access Token").
In Facebook turn on Automatic Advanced Matching
In Facebook add
eboov.com+ your website domain to your Traffic Permissions allow list.
8. Verify Conversion Events
- In eboov click on your Test Video → in video settings turn on Facebook Retargeting
Copy your Test Video's Direct URL.
In Facebook Events Manager → Test Events → Paste URL and open site.
Play video through all 30 seconds.
New eboov events (Play, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 95%) should appear in Events Manager.
In Facebook go to Manage Event Blocking, acknowledge, and confirm all custom events are not blocked.
- If blocked, check the boxes of the blocked events → click Confirm Event
9. Adjust Video Settings
For each uploaded video:
Basic Settings → Adjust controls, set thumbnail (GIF option available).
Campaigns → Enable Lead Pop, set timer for when it appears.
CTA → Customize text, color, link, and timing.
Retargeting → Turn on Facebook and/or Google retargeting and select your pixel (this is mandatory if running ads)
First Party Pixel → Ensure FPP is on and domain is selected (this is mandatory)
10. Build Custom Audiences
Once conversion events are recognized, in eboov go to Help (sidebar) → Launch Steps → Custom Audiences → Facebook.
Follow the instructions to create individual audiences for Play, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 95% watch events.
Extra Context / Troubleshooting
This setup is a one-time process. Once connected, simply adjust video settings for new uploads.
If events don’t appear in Facebook right away, give it a few minutes.
